Students have less and less disposable income. The basic grant is going down, inflation is hitting like a bomb, and rents are not improving either.
Prices are also steadily rising at the university. Fortunately, this is not yet the case at the coffee corner on the 15th.
At a time when students are having increasingly difficult times, it would be nice if the Faculty would meet students halfway by at least giving them this.
Prices in the Refter are rising rapidly, the SPAR is shamelessly expensive, and tuition fees are now being increased by hefty amounts every year.
To curb this, major changes are needed and the interference of companies must be critically examined.
This must start with a small first step: making life on campus affordable again; make the coffee in the coffee corner free!
